All four components of the TOEFL iBT® test are taken in one sitting compared to IELTS who separates their speaking test into a separate session which happens on a different day. That way, you do not have to set aside two different days just to take the test. The TOELF iBT® also lasts for 4 hours, to give you ample time to answer all of the questions without feeling the need to rush through it.
Like the other Tests, the TOEFL iBT® test is a computer-based test. Most of the questions are multiple choice, which means students need not do a lot of typing and will have enough time to properly understand the questions.
Unlike other English Proficiency tests, the TOEFL iBT® test is the only one to use multiple human evaluators for the Speaking sections. This is to ensure that there will be no subconscious biases when it comes to a student's accent or manner of speaking.
Results of your TOEFL iBT® test will be sent to you within 13 days via email.
