Master of Nursing
Specially designed for graduates of any Bachelor of Nursing degree to learn how to work with other healthcare professionals toward providing patient care that is of the highest quality and develops leadership skills in nursing.
Studying a Bachelor of Nursing gives you the opportunity to apply with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for registration as an Enrolled Nurse*.
*The Course must be accredited in order to be allowed for registration.
Specializations
Some Universities provide specializations for International Students applying for the Masters of Nursing, including Nursing Practice & Nursing Science.
Course Duration
2 years of full-time or four years of part-time study to complete a Master of Nursing.
Eligibility Requirements
- Academic: Completion of relevant Bachelor degree or equivalent
- English: Academic IELTS score of 7.0 with no band lower than 7.0 or equivalent
*Institutions or universities may require a higher or lower IELTS score
Fees
The Fees for this course generally range from $35,000 to $40,000 per year.
Merit-based scholarships are available for Masters of Nursing courses depending on the providers. For example, some universities may offer up to a 20% fee reduction for the duration of the course.
Intakes
The Masters of Nursing has intakes open for both February and July. It is a very in-demand program and slots for various programs can run out quickly.
