What are the visas that I can apply for permanent residency?

Australia has different visas leading to permanent residency available for migrants.  These visas are often referred to as skilled-migration visas (Genera Skilled Migration).  Here are some of the well-known visas:

  • Skilled Independent Visa – Subclass 189 *Points-stream
  • Skilled Nominated Visa – Subclass 190
  • Skilled Regional Sponsored Visa – Subclass 489 (State or Family Sponsorship Streams Available)

What are the courses that will lead to permanent residency (PR) in Australia?

Social Work
